In a spectacular display of athleticism and determination, Zimbabwean stars scooped an impressive haul of 8 medals, 1 trophy, and 1 shield at the recently concluded Global Federation Open Championship in Durban, South Africa. The championship, which took place from the 4th to the 7th of December 2024, saw Zimbabwe's finest athletes take on the best from around the world, emerging victorious and making their nation proud.

The Zimbabwean team  comprising of Winstone Mudarikwa, Nevermind Shereni, Collen Zhalale, Raymond Makechemu and Israel Chindamba, demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, dominating various events and disciplines.
